Yoga - Dragon Red

Bikram Yoga is often referred to as "hot yoga" since the series of 26 yoga postures and 2 breathing exercises is done in a room heated to 105 degrees. The heat warms joints, muscles and ligaments to encourage utmost flexibility while reducing injury. It also increases the heart rate, detoxifies the body through sweating and moves fresh, oxygenated blood through our entire body. Our instructor will support and encourage us to hold each pose to our own degree, making this system ideal for beginners as well as more experienced yogis.


Bikram poses work together to put the body reverse on path and in stability. Habitual practice of this sequence of poses can outcome in the healing and fix of injuries and sicknesses, weight loss, and calmness. Bikram Yoga systematically moves fresh, oxygenated blood to our entire body, restoring all systems to healthy working order, just as nature intended. Appropriate weight, muscle tone, energetic good health, and a sense of well-being will automatically track.


Similar to Bikram Yoga, Power Yoga is as well completed in a heated room. Characterized by rigorous, nonstop flowing movements and poses, Power Yoga is a tough, athletic form of yoga that builds power, flexibility and endurance. It can be effortlessly modified for any body type or stage of ability. This way we make our body extremely flexible and active and lead a healthy way of life.


Classes are primarily based on the Baron Baptiste style of Power Yoga, which is comprised of a systematized sequence of Vinyasa poses that are linked together with breathing exercises. Many of the instructors have also studied with other master teachers and bring in a variety of influences into their Power Yoga classes. Different Bikram Yoga, this sequence differs from class to class and teacher to teacher, but can be without difficulty modified for any body type or level of talent. These forms are really beneficial for everyone and for every age group and can be done to remain fit all our lives.
